the first course in 2009. It ends on November 6, 2010.
The scientific
- program consists of
the following subjects:

The Kantha Bopha Hospitals are providing medical care
for 85% of all Cambodian children. Inpatients and
outpatients receive treatment free of charge. The
Kantha Bopha Hospitals have been recognized among
humanitarian projects worldwide for their best
costs/healing rate. While large amounts of money are
spent throughout the continents without proper impact,
adequate use of finances might allow for dozens of
Kantha Bopha type children's hospitals (maternity
including), according to expert's estimates. The
question raised by these experts is: Where would the
doctors come from that are able and willing to do this
job? The KBAP intends to inspire and educate young
doctors who might thus be motivated and prepared to
take on a more demanding humanitarian task.
